So its early but i been looking at possible players we can draft. and ever since we lost the (sean & laron ) safety combo i have been slight depressed with the lack luster performance off the safeties since then. even had my heart crush my Chris Horton hoping he would have panned out.
But i have recently came across Shamarko Thomas safety out of Syracuse.
5-10. Weight: 210.he has a nice frame and is known to be a good hitter and great tackler
at his jr pro day he ran an official laser time at 4.26 he is one of the fastest players in college football.
This versatile defender also has 25 career starts under his belt all with playing time at linebacker, cornerback and safety.so far this yr he has 72 tackles 3 force fumbles and two picks
he is really aggressive and some times that back fires but he played well against USC potent passing attack finishing the game with 7 tackles and a pick.
his teammates describe as a bit crazy a workaholic can be fount around campus pushing his car up hill for a work out. the coaches have to often tell him to slow it down and save your energy.
he perfect for a 3-4 scheme and going to Syracuse he not getting much attention but by combine surely will boast up his stock i believe we can get him 5th round and he can be a steal for us. check him out tell me what you think
