Howdy all you Skins fans! I got to admit playing you this week kinda makes me nervous. After you broke AD's knee last year the last thing I want to see is a repeat of that, but as it is I'm looking forward to the Vikes playing a good team like the Redskins this weekend. This post is to start up some conversations about our two teams and what we think we'll see this Sunday. Since we don't play often I thought I'd ask you some questions off the bat.
First how do you like RGIII? After the first game of the season I thought this might be the next Cam Newton. Taking his team farther than they had a right to expect. Do you think that analogy still works? Or do you think that he's different enough from Cam that he won't fall into the same traps? So far this year we've been pretty solid against the run and unfortunately the last Redskin running back I followed was Portis. Do you guys still have a solid run game or has Shanahan banked it all on RGIII? Speaking of Shanahan, how you guys liking him? I know you've had a coaching carousel lately, you think this guys going to stick? Switching gears how's your defense doing? The Vikes don't tend to score a lot, but AD is still a strong runner and if you have issues with tackling (like the Titans did) you could have a problem with Harvin.
Another quick question, who do you think is your best offensive and defensive players? Also who do you think are some of your work horses that just don't get enough attention but might surprise us. Lastly how do you all feel about the trade you made for RGIII? I mean wow take if from a team who still remembers the Walker trade with fear and trepidation...
So the final thing I'll do before I open this up to comments is make a prediction on the score of the game. I think Minnesota will try and get after RGIII and will run the clock but in the end I see the vikes up 21-17. Good luck and no injuries!
