The Redskins currently have one of the worst secondaries in the history of the NFL and it doesn't seem like there's any easy fixes here. Our CB's are well below league average and our S's are absolutely terrible. In my opinion we could get by this season if we upgraded the safety position. I think our best option could be moving D. Hall to FS. I know a lot of people on this blog don't like him but I think he could do a hell of a lot better then Madieu Williams. I also think moving Cedric Griffin to FS could be a legitimate option. The problem with moving either of them to safety is we will be down one of our top three CB's. Another option is we could go dumpster diving and sign a safety. Nick Collins (I’m not sure if he’ll be able to come back from that neck injury), Charlie Peprah, Melvin Bullit, Brodney Pool, Chris Harris, Chris Hope, Husain Abdullah, and James Ihedigbo are all free agents I believe. I don't know about y'all but those names don't sound all that appealing to me. But I guess beggars can't be choosers, I'd take just about anyone over WIlliams. We could wait until Brandon Meriweather gets healthy but who knows if that will happen this season. Even if he comes back he's not exactly a sure thing. What's y'alls opinon?
