Are there any QBs left on any teams bench?

See you guys! We are not allowed to speculate anymore. Beacuse at this stage, every guess is equally far off.

Well I agree. If their name isn’t Manning or we aren’t picking first or second in the draft than it probably won’t work.

I will have to agree on the Kap post, it did seem far fetched, but grow up man. The point of HH and SB Nation in general is to act as a forum for discussion. If you don’t like the topic don’t respond to it.

And why do you casually dismiss Ponder and Kaepernick? Both were and still are very promising rookies – just last year they were comparable to this year’s Tannehill, Foles, Weeden, etc. And lots of people think Flynn is a very good QB. And why shouldn’t HH people throw out ideas? Shanahan won’t listen, anyway. But he should; if he had listened last year we wouldn’t have had to suffer through Rex and Beck. If you don’t like the speculation, just don’t read the posts.

Does that mean you want us to stick with Rex?

It would be more embarrassing, in a way, for the fanbase to not toss around a few ideas (even though they’re not always the best), as the status quo is unacceptable.

FWIW, I think that your pain is felt by most of the fanbase, but of course we want a different QB. Seriously, we scraped the rock-bottom of the barrel last year and rolled with Grossman and Beck. I’m usually very hesitant to say this, but how could things be worse with the folks you mentioned? Each week of watching Grossman/Beck (though Grossman at least had moments) attempt to lead our team was like playing a twisted game of “would you rather” with Pee-Wee Herman.

Besides, what else better is there for us to do? Gear up for a Pats-Gmen superbowl? Ugh…

Far more embarrassing are the Skin fans that are willing to settle for another year of mediocre Qb play with Rex Grossman at the helm. Losing mentality is setting for such a low bar like that.
