Redskins Indoor Practice Facility Finally Going Up
Today the Washington Redskins finally got round to sorting out an indoor practice facility, with the inflation of a practice bubble starting earlier this afternoon. Mike Shanahan has long fought for an indoor practice facility for when the bad weather hits DC (well, Ashburn). Today the Redskins have granted his request. Quite frankly this is long overdue, but at least it's one more little thing that needed to be done and can be checked off the list.
Check out the official Redskins Blog here for more details, including pictures and a video of it being inflated.

Thank God
This means that, when the weather is bad, the Redskins can actually have a practice instead of going to the Sport and Health in Reston and dickin’ around on the basketball court
No, I'm glad to not have my NFL football team conducting non-practices in preparing to play the Giants, Eagles, Cowboys, et al

Ding ding ding!
But still having the basketball court taken up must have sucked.
Dear Passionate fan, I know you are passionate, but please reply with a logical answer or I will ignore you.

Something Else we Needed
Maybe now our players can be better prepared for those all important games. (football) We needed this.
Good thing you added that. For a second there, I thought we were talking about the sport of Curling...
