I wonder how much Urban Meyer had his hands in the game prep for the Gator Bowl?

Hopefully, he had quite a bit. But according to him, he was staying away, not watching it…

…riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Can someone explain to me hy Penn State would even go to this bowl game?

It’s just insult to injury at this point.

WOW....

he’s the next Matt Flynn haha

by ptowny on Jan 2, 2012 1:25 PM EST up reply actions

Can he fly?

Cuz I’m pretty sure Matt Flynn took flight yesterday. And…AND…I KNOW I saw him turn the Gatorade into Champagne in the post game celebration.

Where do they teach you to talk like this? In some Panama City "Sailor wanna hump-hump" bar, or is it getaway day and your last shot at his whiskey? Sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.

I can't believe Houston has only run the ball 3 times....

Keenum definitely has NFL confidence, too bad he doesn’t have the size

shanahan pretty much said this upcoming offseason is a make or break deal with jamal brown

said he talked with him one on one, and told him he has to be healthy and in shape in order to remain…sounds as if some right tackle competition is coming this offseason

As for me, all I know is that I know nothing.

Keep hearing from ESPN that if Brandon Weeden was younger, he would be a 1st round pick and that Kirk Cousins is the ideal QB…

by LA11 on Jan 2, 2012 3:49 PM EST up reply actions

Weeden needs to step up his game.

Luck has been good so far. One mistake, but he’s still played well. He needs to show that he can be the best player during a big game, which he has the ability to do.

Weeden’s solid. Possible that we pick him up, kid has a cannon.

Lot's of QBs looking good

I think I have seen at least six QBs capable of improving the current situation in DC and producing lots of wins simply by playing ball control and not turning the ball over constantly with fumbles and ints. Draft or sign (free agent) one of them when our turn comes and use our draft choices to build a strong supporting cast. Half as many TOs this year would have produced twice as many wins and a shot in the playoffs even with our current weaknesses at the other positions. Don’t sacrifice the future for one of the top two this year. I trust the FO to find the best QB and continue to build for the future.

If I'm Stanford

I don’t let that last possession come down to a FG when we still have 30 seconds and 3 time outs. Especially when that FG is being kicked by a red shirt freshman.

Blackmon might have locked up a top 3 spot last night

He might be hard to pass on for the Rams also.
