Loudoun dangles Hall of Fame to keep Redskins HQ | Washington Examiner
Loudoun County is striking back in a bid to keep the Redskins in Ashburn after officials in the District and Prince George's County have said they want to steal the teams headquarters facility away. The carrot being dangled before team owner Dan Snyder after months of silence is in the form of a potential Redskins Hall of Fame, an idea that was floated in Loudoun in 2008 but narrowly rejected by that board of supervisors.

Rookie review: White stuck low on depth chart - Rich Tandler's Real Redskins
During the course of the year, 11 of the Redskins’ 12 draft picks from 2011 were on the active roster. Here we take a look at each of them, how much they played, what they accomplished and what their future prospects are. Previously we looked at nose tackle Chris Neild; today it’s outside linebacker Markus White.

How Close Are the Redskins?

How do the Redskins "do a 49ers" and turn this around in a year? - Riggo's Rag
If the 49ers can do it, then why can’t we? Redskins fans like to think we’re just a couple of players, or a couple of lucky breaks per game away fr

Kudo Awards: Will Montgomery -Hog Blogs " Blog Archive
Montgomery may be the most improved player on the Redskins roster in my humble opinion; he is certainly the only player that I used to consider a liability, that I now consider a growing asset.

Lichtensteiger expects to return - Rich Tandler's Real Redskins

If you want to find a turning point in the Redskins’ 2011 season, look at the first quarter of their fifth game of the season. Perhaps during a play where the EaglesKurt Coleman intercepted a Rex Grossman pass, perhaps right after the whistle blew on that play, left guard Kory Lichtensteiger sustained a knee injury. He tore both his ACL and MCL and he was out for the season.

2011 NFL Playoffs -- Antrel Rolle says New York Giants won't be denied - ESPN New York

"We're not going to be denied," safety Antrel Rolle said of the Giants' "swagged out" mental state of mind at the moment. "We understand what we have as a team. It's not all about talent, it's all about chemistry. We're jelling at this point."

Here are two questions for you to start your Championship Week: What would have happened if Ernie Accorsi hadn't had such a backbone on April 24, 2004? And what would have happened if A.J. Smith had played hardball with Accorsi as the clock wound down on the fourth overall pick of the 2004 NFL Draft, with just seven minutes to go and the Giants on the clock?

I still don't get why Green Bay would franchise tag Flynn...

I guess that means he would get traded on Thursday during the draft, right after the top 2 QB’s go off the board…

In order to do that you have to have a talented roster and terrible coaching staff you can turnover quickly

We have the opposite. We have a really talented coach and a crappy roster. Sadly, in our case, all we can do is sit and wait for us to turnover our roster.

I hope Redskins Park moves to DC

Ok, why the hell should we be happy about the Giants?

“But you guys beat them twice!” So #%^$&* what!? Are we going to receive the prestigious “Better luck next year” award?

All it says is that this team can play championship-caliber football, they just don’t. That’s a terrific comfort.

It says to me that we matched up well against NY and played with a chip on our shoulder…means nothing as far as next year is concerned though.

Hail to the Redskins!

So I guess we need a Rolle on every opponents' roster to fire us up?

The way the Redskins play down to lesser teams is infuriating. Of course, I’m not saying anything you guys didn’t know.
