Brian Orakpo Has Shoulder Surgery

Washington Redskins linebacker Brian Orakpo has announced via his Twitter account that he has had successful shoulder surgery.

Just had successful shoulder surgery in Pensacola thanks everybody for their support! Now time for a speedy recover HTTR!

Orakpo lead the Redskins with nine sacks this year, ending the year with two against the Eagles before leaving the game early with the shoulder injury. It has yet to be revealed how long his recovery period will be.

I saw that on the old Twitter machine. Hopefully he can recover quickly and start working on at the very least a 2nd move.

I’m waiting for LaRon Landry to tweet that he’s had achilles surgey. He needs to have that sooner than later considering the recovery time. The more he waits (should have had it last YR) the more I’d let him walk. No surgery, No more BnG.

They blitzed him from the right side and he had more impact against RTs then LTs.

That’s the only thing I noticed.

I thought I saw some different moves from him when he moved to the other side, too...

not all the time, but once in a while he seemed to change it up.
