Join Hogs Haven and Budweiser TONIGHT for NFL Kickoff at Hard Times Cafe in Bethesda
For the third installment of our series of Budweiser-sponsored events at Hard Times Cafe, we have our third different deal:
On Thursday night at Hard Times Cafe in Bethesda, $15 gets you:
- All-you-can-drink Budweiser/Bud Light
- The latest Hogs Haven T-shirt (you're going to love it)
- And a chance to win one of the giveaways we'll have there.
As you all know, we take our annual T-shirt creation very seriously. We charged $15 per shirt last year, so getting the shirt AND all-you-can-drink for $15 is pretty much a slam dunk.
We'll be joined by Chris Johnson from 106.7 The Fan for our round table discussion prior to the kickoff of the Packers/Saints game. There will be some big shoes to fill as CJ (heard daily on "The Mike Wise Show" weekdays from 10 am to 2 pm on 106.7) is following Dexter Manley. Dexter was amazing at our last event. We'll be talking to CJ about all the latest out of Redskins Park, his expectations for the upcoming season as well as his unique perspective on where this organization currently stands. As both a lifelong Redskins fan and mainstay on the DC Sports media scene for over a decade, CJ's point of view is held in high regard around here.
We'll kick things off around 6:30, with the live round table set for 7 PM. Looking forward to seeing you guys there.

hmm
It would take about 300 beers to cover the cost of a flight in that case.
It’s actually quite tempting..
I hate to
Piss in anyone’s teacup, but for those of you skimming this article, and thinking that the CJ they’re talking about is ME, it ain’t. Unfortunately, I have to work that night, and as tempting as it is to grace you people with my presence, I make it a habit to only take off work for Skins games. Sorry.
Thanks for posting this, our RSVPs have tripled in the past 5 minutes.

Thats only because
It takes that many to make up for my absence.
(You see how nice I am? I could’ve said something like “I’m I won’t be there, and neither will you’re girlfriend……hmmmmmmm”, or “Yo Mama ain’t going cus the last time she ate chili, she farted and YOU came out”. But I’m not that kinda guy. I’m refined.)

Momas eating chili leads to farting children out?
I am going to have to review that “birds and bees” talk with my parents again.
Can your wife still come and be our designated driver?
That ride home was HUGE! And you remember NONE OF IT!

Ha ha
Not a lick. I DO remember chatting with you, and someone else, at the bar. And I remember making friends with the Somalian attendant at the gas station on the way home. Everything else is locked in a vault somewhere.
I suddenly wish...
I didn’t go to school in Georgia. :/
All you can drink beer for 15 dollars with good people and good football? Sounds like a win.
Yes....but at our tailgate.
Road games we’ll try and get one or two setup.

Coming from Columbia so I'll be a tad late.
Hopefully can come in the middle of round table and hear what is said.

How the hell
Do you get suspended for a game in 2011 because of something you did in 2008? What, Goodell couldn’t suspend anyone during the lockout, so he’s going to the archives?
OK
WHO was I arguing with on here the other day, that was trying to tell me Jason Campbell has as much talent as Aaron Rogers?
