So far through two games Ryan Torrain has not sniffed any playing time. Which is interesting because i have found memories of Torrain demolishing linebackers and defensive backs last season. He has the be the best 3rd string RB in the NFL. He would easily be a number 1 on numerous of teams like the Seahawks, Cheifs(with Charles out for the season and Thomas Jones is close to being done), Colts(I never really got why the colts thinks so highly of addai), etc. The skins may be able to get as high as a 4th round pick. for Torrain. Considering what the Skins were able to do with 4th round picks and lower in the previous draft I think it would be worth shopping Torrain. They could then bring Royester of the practice squad as their 3rd string RB.
i am also open to the idea of just finding a way to get him on the field. When the Skins are giving Hightower a blow they could put Torrain and Helu in the backfield at the same time. Make the defense think about who will get the ball. They are such contrasting styles that the deception would work.
Either one of these two options are find by me. i just feel it is pointless to let a talent like Torrian just ride the bench. However how injury prone he is, it doesn't change the fact that he is a monster when healthy. The Skins need to either use him or trade him it get something for him. Otherwise its just a waste to keep Torrain the way the Skins are doing.
