DeMarcus Ware Having a Lot of Success Rushing from Right Side; Be Ready Jammal Brown
I was looking over some highlight videos from the Cowboys last two games and something stood out: Demarcus Ware rushing over the Right Tackle...A LOT. In years past, Wade Phillips was rather vanilla keeping Ware over the Left Tackle, but Rob Ryan shares the same mantra as Haslett and lines him up everywhere. The stats don't lie as Ware already has registered a NFL leading 4 sacks.
In this 49ers video, you'll see Ware over the RT, LT, Center, and even doing some delayed blitzes from MLB. Ware's impressive move and sack on Sanchez after the jump.
Jammal Brown, I hope your ready.
Impressive...

Haven't they always
moved ware around a lot? I remember them moving him in wades defense from left to right all the time.
Either way jammal better start earning that paycheck!
also plz have rb’s chip dat
The Beat Box aka skins secondary.
some, but it is A LOT more now
I remember seeing the breakdown in the Jets game and it was something like only about 45% of his rushes came from the left side (might have been a bit higher) the rest came up the middle or the right.

This is the week we find out if you are right about how bad Jamaal Brown is. I believe he may actually prove you wrong, but it’s going to be very interesting to watch.
there are worst RTs than Brown...
I actually think Trent and Brown could be great… its the 2nd game…they are better than last year… they’ll get better this year.
It would have been catastrophic if we had let Brown go
and not gotten a Ryan Harris (who’s hurt) or someone else. Why is there this belief that Brown is so bad? He played through a healing hip injury all last season, and as it improved, so did he? Now through 2 games, he’s been playing way better than our 4th overall pick.

It's going to be all about neutralizing the 2 W's....
Ware and Whitten. No way we shut both these guys out, but if we can keep these guys from taking over the game, we win.

Why does everyone outside of Dallas spell Wittens name with an "h?"
In '08,"I want Dez! I want Dez!" In '10,"WE DRAFTD DEZ!!! WE DRAFTED DEZ!!! HOLY S#!* WE GOT DEZ!"
Without Newman or Scandrick and a hurt Jenkins
Dallas was playing a scrub off the street that they had just signed that week.

Honeslty a scrub off the street may be better than those guys.

Jenkins is playing well with a 5.4 ypa average, very respectable
Scandrick was playing very well too, the jets had 37 yards passing when he got hurt just before half time, then Jenkins got hurt and all hell broke lose.
Newman ? I don’t know, but Jenkins is matching his numbers from his pro bowl campaign.

Newman
is over rated. I never understood how he made so many Pro Bowls. I guess he was the best option to fill out the required number of Cowpokes.
Where do they teach you to talk like this? In some Panama City "Sailor wanna hump-hump" bar, or is it getaway day and your last shot at his whiskey? Sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.

He had a stretch of a couple of years when he was really good
then he got injury prone and it just sapped a lot out of him

Start of the season-Tapes
Players and teams which start off fast sometimes are due to a change in how they are playing, and once identified will come back to normal performance.
Good point
Should be enough footage to get a decent tab on what they’re doing on defense. Better than if we played them first. Another thing is that i’m sure the DC pulled out a lot of stops against his brother to try and best him. Gives us more to study.
The Beat Box aka skins secondary.
That first video had every single good play the 49ers had in the whole game.
Very skewed video, neither of Wares sacks were shown in a video talking about Ware rushing from both sides.
thats because
Kevin was previewing what would happen Monday.

WTF did I just watch for 6:12? You would have thought the 49ers won by 50.
Couple of notes.
1. Cowboys can’t cover their shadow
2. Ball is the worse than Doughty
3. Spencer in coverage is comedy gold
4. F Dallas
@Callahan_9 on the twitter machine.
As sucky as they are in their secondary
Monday will be all about Trent Williams and Jammal Brown.

Too much talk about Demarcus Ware
And not enough talk about Orakpo/Kerrigan. While the Cowboys definitely have an elite pass rusher in D. Ware, I’d have to say we have the pass rushing advantage with the Kerrigan/Orakpo combo. The storyline Monday night WILL NOT be how Demarcus Ware brought havoc upon the Redskins offense, rather, the storyline is going to be how the Cowboy offensive line had absolutely no answer for the Orakpo/Kerrigan combination. I foresee a ton of false starts/holding/sacks/fumbles all due to the Cowboys fear of the Orakpo/Kerrigan show. That offense doesn’t stand a chance on Monday Night.
interestingly
You all have the “pass rushing advantage” but we have more sacks. Funny how that works out.

LOL
It’s a good thing pass rushing isn’t simply measured by sack totals.
Looking Closely at the Meaningful Stats
Football Outsiders has an adjusted sack rate of 11.9% for Dallas and 11.6% for Washington. You are #1 in the NFL in sack rate and the Redskins #3. I fully believe we will surpass you in the statistical rankings this week. Hell this is only Kerrigan’s third game and he’s well on his way to being one of the best in the league.
Alez Barron no longer plays for the dallas Cowboys.
Welcome Mr. Kerrigan to a black hole.

you may be right
We’ll see as the season progresses.
I just found the original comment funny because it was such a blanket statement with nothing backing it up.

LOL
It’s a good thing you don’t count the most important pass rushing stat – the sack – when it doesn’t fit your argument.

Blocking Ware is crucial for the Skins to win
The guy, obviously, is one of the most gifted OLBs in the NFL. If our offense can prevent him from making an impact, we can take advantage of Dallas injuries readily and make things happen. Ware is a game-changer though, if we don’t key in on him, the offense could find a hard time passing.
