The Redskins dodged a bullet by not moving up to the 5th overall pick in the 2009 draft go get Sanchez. They made the mistake once moving up to go get Campbell. (Campbell is a very serviceable QB but was not worth trading up for), I was always skeptical about USC QBs especially before the Reggie Bush scandal and the recruiting restrictions they have now. Both Sanchez and Leinart were surrounded by 40-50 projected pros at all times. So what you saw with them at USC is a mirage.
Mark Sanchez again in the NFL is fortunate enough to be surrounded with a loaded Jets team. The Jets have an absolute stacked O-line, probably like Top 3 in the NFL. I pretty good WR core in Holmes and Burress. They have Dustin Keller for a tight-end. Shon Greene is a good running back. LT has a lot left in the tank.
Don't give this playoff success with Sanchez. His first year the fell into the playoffs only because they got a chance to play the Colts second team when they needed one more win.
He is a very average QB. Unlike most rookie QBs coming into a league he came to a team, in the Jets that already had something brewing. Could you imagine if he was playing behind the same o-line Campbell had to play behind in '09?
