And just when I thought I couldn't hate Darnell Docket anymore...
he goes and reveals himself to be a cowboys fan.
I’ve heard mostly bad things about that guy. Things get around. Being a Dallas fan just makes me hope he loses even more. One thing that is always said about him that is positive though is that he is built like a truck.

you see his life story? His mother was murdered at 13 and his dad died of cancer 4 months later. Unbelievable. I didn’t know about that til today.

He borrowed them from his significant other.
Who actually is a female, and married to him, IIRC.

Now that is a name I have not heard in a long time.
what is Trent thinking...
I know that these players need to demonstrate confidence, but…
JPP worked Silverback like an sweat shop Nike factory line worker. I am seriously reconsidering his nickname to chimpanzee.
Yeah, I'm a little worried about Trent's professionalism
There seems to be some denial and excuses. He missed the voluntary workouts, but said he worked out, but some observers think he’s not in top shape. And now he seems to not realize that he had a bad day against the Giants. Nothing much yet, just makes me wonder a little. Self criticism is important in getting better – notice how most other young players (like Kerrigan and Neild) talk. If his words reflect his thinking – a big if – he might never reach his full potential.
Has anyone reviewed all of the tape?
He may very well be right that there was miscommunication on the fumble. If he was meant to help out somewhere else, or get help inside, one doesn’t deserve all of the blame for that assignment.
Only TW, Cory, and the staff know what the assignment was.
He could be humble, I guess, but it doesn’t sound like he is being unprofessional (he isn’t pointing fingers, just saying this is football).
In the long run men hit only what they aim at. Therefore, though they should fail immediately, they had better aim at something high.

I don't care about his professionalism...
professionalism calls for honesty evaluation (“they played better than we did” or “I have a lot to work on”); whatever. I don’t want spin, I want acknowledgement.
He looked completely confused and if he doesn’t improve, our QB’s are going to suffer, in turn, our offense will suffer.
Keim quoted Shanahan saying it wasn't a communication error.
"By far the worst performers on the (Redskins) are in the front office." – Sally Jenkins
I saw that quote, but I don't put as much stock into it as you might seem to.
Shanahan, though, said it was not about a communication breakdown.
"I’ll have to ask him about that," he said.
This leads me to believe that Shanahan isn’t aware that it was miscommunication, but isn’t calling TW out as lying. Does Shanahan know, or have much to do with, individual Oline assignments on a per play basis. I doubt that a lot. It looks like Licht pushed forward to block a LB on that play, one that was essentially behind the rushing uplineman. I wouldn’t say TW didn’t miss an oppurtunity to make a better block, but calling him confused when it seems pretty clear that he at least thought and acted like his assignment was to keep JPP from getting around him to the outside (he steps outside himself and pushed JPP inside, giving him a clearer line to Grossman than from any other possible position).
If we want him to kowtow to the media, or bloggers, and eat humble pie for a missed block or two, I guess that is fine. I don’t want our players to do that. I want them in the film room, making themselves better, and not causing locker room problems by calling out their teammates (which some have done in the past). Teamwork and hard work will make this better. TW seems to be doing both (and that praise is also coming from Shanahan).
In the long run men hit only what they aim at. Therefore, though they should fail immediately, they had better aim at something high.

Well at least Dockett has been to Dallas.
This puts him in pretty rarefied air amongst local boys supporters, most of which blindly cheer for a team 1500 miles away from a city that they have never been to, nor likely will ever go to. It’s a sickness, I tell you.
Is Trent really talking shit
after JPP turnstiled the hell out of him and generally took a dump all over TW all game?
-1 man, -1.
Trash talk is not one of Trent's strength...
Until he becomes a force to be reckoned with in the NFL… he should stay away from trash talk…
Hopefully
TW just had a bad game and doesn’t let him get the best of him, however he did get worked by JPP and TW just looked ate up out there!
A lot of positives in this Slop....
I love Officer Hightower hanging out with the Ol while he is off duty. (until I saw the pic, I guess I never realized our OL was so…..caucasian).
I also really like Grossman’s answers to the media of late. Of course he is going to try to be positive, but there seems to be some specificty to his comments. They are not the standard pat answers QB’s probably spend hours practicing in the mirror.
Trent’s statements really bother me as well. He got whupped, numerous times. Whether or not he has shown improvement in some parts of his game, Sunday should not be considered an acceptable performance. Just a whiff of accountabilty would be nice. Honestly I don’t care that it was the guards original assignment, his job is to protect my QB. Trent was not engaged and JPP ran right by him, not every play is going to look like it does on the chalkboard (do they still even use chalkboards? I bet Shanny does, he is old school)….He needs to get his head on a swivel in that situation and knock JPP off his route, at the very least.
Bothers me a bit deeper because it reeks too much of Orakpo stating that he didn’t need to learn any new pass rush moves. These are supposed to be our marquis players, and it sounds like they are not doing everything they can to take their game to the next level. They both have the physical attributes and talent to end up in the HOF, but do they have the drive?
"Please don't dominate the rap, Jack, if you got nothin' new to say."-Robert Hunter
I hear ya on Orakpo and TW
’Rak needs to accept that just because he gets held 8-10 times a game, does not mean they will call 8-10 holding penalties a game. Papa needs a brand new bag to get out of those holds.
I hope TW did some film study from last week’s game so he sees how much he got abused. Hopefully his media comments are just meant to be ambiguous, and he doesn’t really think he was without error. Sometimes defenders went right by when TW wasn’t even engaged with somebody. He needs to work on his situational awareness.
+1 RB Hightower getting closer to his O-line is great news for the team!!!
Hightower should get an expense account just to take his O-line drinking!
Sexy should take heed and take his WRs/TEs to dinner!
I've been reading the excuses Giants fans make for their loss... LMAO!!!
We’ll win this Sunday… and then… KERRAPKO will make Romo eat grass!
such as?

Not such as, who
and who is everyone who coaches, owns or plays for the Giants. What a bunch of scumbags. Like we, in Washington, don’t know who to blame the Redskin organization on? I am pretty sure its that park pigeon that looks at me in this guilty way as it roams around the tidal basin.

Ladies and gentlemen...
Hambone Jackson, master of confusion.
"Dominant" is an adjective.
"Dominate" is a verb.
We'll work on "Dominance" once we get the first two figured out.
I don't get it
So why don’t these same people root for Russia during the Olympics, cheer on some college other than their alma mater, go to their high school games and see their friends and cheer for the opposing school?
My neighbor is a Steelers fan and has never been to Pittsbugh. I was gleeful when the Ravens embarrassed them last week.
Love my hometown team.

Most Steeler fans in the DC metro area have some connection to the Pittsburgh (Western Pa). One guy that I know
never lived outside of the DC metro but his father and grandfather did. Since Western Pa was an economically depressed area it isn’t surprising that so many of these people migrated in this direction. Some even moved toward Cleveland.

Cleveland?! :P
I wonder if it’s the same for all those flying Cowboys flags around here.
