Washington Redskins Decline 'Victory Monday' Day Off After Win Over Giants

Stay connected for news and updates

I don't know how many of my fellow Redskin fans have seen this today but I thought it was pretty cool and clearly represents the teams committment to a change in attitude, work ethic, and accountablity. While adressing the team after thier 28-14 victory over the Giants, London Fletcher informed Mike Shanahan that the team had collectively chosen to abandon the normal "victory Monday" day off following a victory, and instead opted to get back to work and pick back up where they left off on Moday. I for one think this is great and shows just how much the culture of the team has changed since Mike Shanahan took over. And its great.
