Is anyone else TIRED of the Redskins bashing that has gone on?

I'm a nice lady. I really am. My boyfriend thinks i'm sweet. But hearing all the Redskins bashing in this offseason has made my blood boil. I hear people saying we are going to be 2-14, 3-13, we have no weapons, our defense sucks, etc. Ugh. I know that we had no running game last year, but now we have Hightower, Torain(who played well at the end of last season)and Helu. A solid trio of backs that can be a run-by-committee force. Hightower can be our feature back, Torain can be the sledgehammer and Helu can bring the gamebreaking speed. The offensive line looks better this year and as a result, the zone blocking scheme should be in effect.

Lets move on to the Wideouts/Tight Ends. We have Moss, who is still quick as a cat and is a steady option. Slants and screens can be done with him. We have Armstrong who can stretch the field vertically and be the big play guy. How many big plays did the Redskins connect on with him last year? Then we have Gaffney, a guy i like. A solid possession guy, we can move the chains with him. We have Fred Davis, who has LOSS WEIGHT and should be more agile out there. Plus there is my favorite of all, Cooley who is one of the top 10 TE in the NFL. Good hands and a reliable option at all times.

Defense! Its the second year of the tranisition to the 3-4 and i believe we will finally figure it out. For one, we have a Barry Colefield. Love him. He should help improve our run defense instantly and be a force as our nose tackle. We still have Orakpo, who will strike fear with his pass rush. We have the new guy Kerrigan who should also provide a nice pass rush. We have Flecther who we all know is a tackle machine and we have Stephen Bowen, a big guy that i see bringing great energy to the D-line. We should have Landry and Atogwe leading a solid safety tandem once healthy and we still have D Hall, an interception magnet and playmaker.

As far as the QB situation, i see it like this. We will be freaking fine! If Rex Grossman starts, we are getting a guy who has 8 years of experience, 3 of the years come with a knowledge of the Kyle Shanahan's offense and a guy who unlike Mcnabb threw more touchdowns than interceptions and had a QB rating of 81 when he stepped in last year.He also has a good arm and can get the ball down field for the big plays. If Beck starts we have a guy who also knows the offense and a guy who when you give him TIME, can make sharp ACCURATE throws. The man played 5 games in Miami and that was on a team that was 1-15! This Redskins team has more talent than that team. Plus if our running backs step up the way i feel they will we won't have to DEPEND on the QB to do as much. End or rant.
