It all starts with the Quarterback. As much as I want to believe Mike Shanahan, that he has not decided who will start, playing time will tell us who will most likely be the Starting Quarterback on Opening Day.
1. Which Quarterback takes the first snaps as Starter. How Long?
Whoever starts takes the lead.
2. When will the other Quarterback enter the game. How long with the first Unit?
Will it be significant time on the field or end of the first half.
3. Stallworth vs. Paul. Who gets the playing time?
I believe they are battling each other for one spot. Being a rookie and a draft pick gives Niles Paul the edge.
4. Niles Paul and Terrance Austin's Return Game. How well?
Brandon Banks to the season ending IR could hinge on these two fellas returning kicks and punts.
5. Tim Hightower past fumbling woes
If Timmy fumbles, this may lead to Roy Helu grabbing the starting job. Just keep the ball off the ground and Hightower keeps the starting job.
6. Evan Royster vs. Ryan Torrain
As hard as it is for me to believe that Ryan Torrain may be cut, I think the position is Evan Roysters to win. The simple fact is that Ryan Torrain is injury prone. He is unreliable. Trading for Hightower will make cutting Torrain easier to swallow. GM's do not like cutting their draft picks.
7. Jarvis Jenkins vs. Adam Carriker
With the toe injury, lots of opportunity for the 2nd round draft pick to take the starting job. Just dominate!
8. DB's
With all the injurys there will be no excuse for everyone that gets cut. They have all had an opportunity to prove themselves.
9. Orakpo and Kerrigan
Time to cause havoc in the backfield. Should be plenty of opportunities for Orakpo to show his new MMA skils.
10. Coffield as Nose Tackle
The ultimate test tonight for a grind out offense like the Ravens.
