The guys at Ball Hogs Radio have a mission for YOU!

Do you know how the Orioles and their fans have their own special National Anthem chant? You know, it goes something like this:

“…gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. Ooooooooo! say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave”

And have you noticed that the Capitals have their own as well? You can practically hear the 20,000 fans screaming “RED!” in unison during “Rocket’s RED glare” from outside the Verizon Center.

So if other local teams can do it, why can’t the Skins at FedEx Field? Here’s what we’ve proposed- why not have 80,000+ screaming fans prove just how proudly they hail every home game?

Here’s how it would go:

“Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light, What so proudly we HAILED! at the twilight’s last gleaming?”

Aren’t we all tired of opposing fans taking over our stadium?  Wouldn’t something like this, special and unique to the Redskins, get you pumped up even more for kickoff? I know we’re all in on this.

So I ask you Redskins fans: will you HAIL PROUDLY with Redskins Nation at FedEx Field this year?  This message needs to be sent to EACH AND EVERY Redskins fan in the DMV.  Help tweet, post on Facebook, share the link, etc… to help spread the word!  You’ll be reminded all throughout the preseason and then come 9/11, with 80K + in attendance, during the National Anthem, let’s kick it off!!!
