Mike Shanahan spoke with media today after practice and shared a few nuggets:

• Redskins have resigned Grossman and he will report to Redskins Park tonight. This is a good thing.
• Phillip Buchanon has been suspended the first 4 games of the season by the NFL and that the Redskins knew about this. (No details yet on the infraction). 
• Tim Hightower can't practice until Thursday since he technically was signed as a RFA.

We're 10 days away from  our first pre-season game. And I wish I could take credit for that Rex nickname. I saw it on twitter last week. My apologies to whoever said it first and I can't give them credit.

UPDATE from Ken: Rex Grossman has been working out all summer at an MMA training center studying Brazilian styles in anticipation of the epic showdown between him and John Beck. I am not sure if that means he'll be fighting Beck or waxing him. One thing is for certain, we are going to find out the answer to the question: "Would you rather have your quarterback throw for 175 yards in a loss, or 350 yards in a loss?"
