Division opponents comparing Skins Starters vs Eagles backups?!

I am not a huge drinker of the kool-aid that seems to be spiked following our first preseason game, but i am, however, cautiously optimistic that we are finally moving in the right direction. I say cautiously only because it is so early in the process, although i think it is beign done the right way.

There have been plenty of posts on HogsHaven about the overall lack of concern/respect that the national media is giving to the Redskins, but I have found that usually our division rivals, while still loving to give us a hard time, show us respect as opponents.

That being said, my jaw dropped when I stumbled across a posting on an NFC East-centric blog that asks the question: "Who is better, the Redskins starting offense of the Eagles 2nd string offense?" See for yourself....

http://bloggingthebeast.com/2011/08/17/the-better-offense-the-redskins-starters-or-the-eagles-second-stringers/

This may just be the product of Iggles fans intoxicated on the delirium inducing kool-aid that the Iggles front office served through free agency (somthing that skins fans have been force fed and have grown an aversion to) or an unobservant blogger's shot at a team he sees as the "same old lolskins" (most pre-school, stupid nickname ever created).

Either way, I would love to hear what you educated HogsHaven faithful have to say about this one. Also, am I off base when I look at the comparison and can't recognize more than VY, R.Brown, Steve Smith, Jason Avant, and Winston Justice? Other than Brown and Smith, i dont see any other contributors to the Iggles this year.

Personally, I took every single Redskins starter, alrhough i contemplated Steve Smith (healthy) over Gaffney.

Tell me I am not insane!

HAIL to 'em!
