I come to you not as a fan, my allegiance is with the Ravens. 

I'll admit I haven't been a football fan for as long as most. (The first football game I ever watched was the St. Louis Rams v. Titans Superbowl). But for years two franchises have provided me with something to laugh at, the Raiders, and the Redskins.

However, it is apparent that the front office of the Redskins is finally doing something right. They got rid of The Fat One and have made respectable personnel moves across the board. It appears your shiny new GM has reigned in Dan Snyder's wallet first spending, and I find my only source of front office entertainment to be Mike Brown.

I believe you have the right GM, I'm not sold on the coach, I think the Shanahan will be competitive, but I don't think he'll get you to the promise land, I figure you guys are still in the basement of the NFC East. But that speaks more to the quality of the Cowboys, Eagles and Giants than it does the Redskins.

So, congrats, I think the direction of the franchise is on the upswing. 

But I ask can you do me one favor, another huge free agent miss should be had for old time sake. Terrell Owens is available as is Randy Moss. And I hear Terrelle Pryor could be drafted with a first round supplemental draft pick.

So how about somebody get into Dan Snyder's ear about getting one of them...or just run the swinging gate play one more time :-)
