I know everyone reading this must think i am insane to be even comparing John Beck with Tom Brady. John Beck was chosen in the 2nd round (40th overall) in 2007 NFL draft. He also went on a Mormon Mission. If your are drafted in the second round you are considered to be a high prospect.Take all that into consideration and his NFL Career has not been that long. His only playing time was when he was taking snaps with an 0-9 Dolphins team who that same year fired their head coach and GM. Then he sat behind Chad Pennington and Joe Flacco for the next few seasons. He only started 5 games with the Dolphins. Can anyone tell me that is enough of a sample to say Beck can't play. If that was the case then people should of wrote off Peyton Manning's entire rookie season and labeled him as a bust.
Tom Brady was a 6th round pick who wasn't highly thought of at all. Most teams don't even draft quarterbacks in the 6th round. Even at Michigan he was Seventh on the depth chart. Tom Brady is widely considered the best quarterback in the NFL. He would probably never seen the field as a starter if Drew Bledsoe didn't get hurt.
My whole point of this post is you never know sometimes. I am not saying that John Beck will be another Tom Brady. However, with the evidence I presented how can you say with any logic that he couldn't be.
