My math teacher and I are avid Redskins fans and have a discussion daily about the state of the Skins. One day, after I woke up from my nap, I talked about my year on the Freshman Football team. But first some background.
My math teacher used to be the Varsity Offensive Coordinator at my school, and he left to coach at a rival school along with others due to a new coach. The Freshman Football coach, Tony Spinosa, used to be the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Redskins. So one can infer that they are friends.
So back to the story. While me and my teacher were talking football, he brought up NFL Networks Top Ten. I watched it a few nights before and number 1 was "Anybody the Redskins Sign." This brought up the conversation on Archuleta. So turns out, when Spinosa was the Skins S&C Coach, he got my teacher a sideline pass. While at the game, he saw Greg Williams. So I then said " Man, I wish he got the coaching job after Gibbs."
He then told me while he was on the sideline, Spinosa told him that Williams put Archuleta in Cover 2 defense, just so he would get burned so he can make a point to Snyder that this was a bad idea. So when they were interviewing for the coaching job, Williams didn't get it after his antics with Archuleta.
(Note that is not solely the reason Williams didn't get the job, nor am I sure that this is 100% accurate, just saying what i heard.)
