Ryan Kerrigan's Awesome Highlight Video (to Awful Foreign House Music)
Haslett is a guy that wants turnovers...well, Ryan Kerrigan's highlight video is all that and more (safeties, sacks, block shedding, run downs). Get pumped Redskins fans...this is a treat to watch. (and I don't mean pumped like when we saw Dennis Morris' highlight video and were all ready to cut Mike Sellers).

Haha, this is the video I ended up watching right after our pick.
Got me really pumped for him on our team, and excited that our GM isn’t a maniacal nut-job.
I'm still ready to cut Mike Sellers
and Kerrigan is gonna be beastly. I can’t wait to see Eli, Vick, and Romo getting crushed, and seeing that ball pop out for a fumble.
Does this have the potential to be the best OLB tandem in our division? I think it does.

2nd and 3rd effort player...
Plenty of these plays were unblocked bull rushes but I saw enough arm strength and agility to impress. Also, his ability to consistently rake the arm of the QB without missing the tackle shows well. Ought to be brutal on screens with his pursuit speed and burst off blockers.
I was thinking the same thing Hog. I don’t care about track speed. If Vick thinks he’s going to get a chance to breathe, that perception will change drastically the first time he locks eyes with Kerrigan bulling his way through RT as Osackpo dives for that left arm. Even if the rook’s FF and Sacks are “unimpressive”, the attention he draws off Rack will be doubly effective as pure fear factor.
Now if only we can get a NT to push the C and a G into the pocket..
Sidenote, Would not want to be a blocking TE in front of this kid.
For those who say covering TEs will be a problem
Do you see this athleticism? I know he doesnt have coverage experience, but Kerrigan is ATHLETIC.
In addition, with two good rushing OLB’s, Landry will be able to hold off on rushing a bit more, and in stead act like a ILB a little more, crushing the run in the middle, and taking on TEs.
Plus, Atogwe. I don’t think anything more needs to be said about him.
athletic
Right, he’s a great athlete. His combine stats are just about identical to Quinn’s, including the speed numbers, but Kerrigan managed 9 more reps in the bench press.
40 yard dash
Quinn: 4.7
Kerrigan: 4.71
Bench
Quinn: 22
Kerrigan: 31
Vert jump
Quinn: 34
Kerrigan: 33.5
Broad jump
Quinn: 116
Kerrigan: 122
3 cone
Quinn: 7.13
Kerrigan: 7.18
20 yard shuttle
Quinn: 4.4
Kerrigan: 4.39
good stuff

videos
To really appreciate Kerrigan, don’t watch the highlight videos. Instead, watch the videos that show all (or most) defensive plays for entire games. He is always around the ball. Then watch some Robert Quinn games. Quinn will make 1 or 2 really impressive plays per game, but otherwise he’s not around the ball often.
Kerrigan also looks to be great at staying home and playing the run. He looks really disciplined.
IM JACKED! THE SEASON NEEDS TO START NOW!
Did anyone else notice that it seemed he was in the backfield when the ball was snapped?
Both video clips

One of the most important aspects of his game that Nobody really talks about
is how great he is at knowing where the ball is, but in respects to running play action he is not easily tricked at all considering how many times our players have been tricked by Play Action that’s a great thing.

It's one thing
to beat up on sorry Notre Dame and Iowa State teams. I hope he can duplicate some of this on the professional level…..Still waiting for Orakpo to shine
