I don't care what QB we take, or if we take one at all.
And I don't think you should either.
Finally, we have a real front office and a real coaches who know their football. I would say I completely trust their judgement and will be happy no matter what we do in the draft. But that wouldn't quiet be true. I will not be happy if the O-line isn't in some way addressed, or if NT isn't in some way addressed. But QB?
Every week we debate whose offensive scheme this is, Mike or Kyle's. We still don't know. And we don't know if it will change, and begin to lean a certain way or the other. Because of that, there is no way I can say "this QB would be the best."
If they take Mallet, I'll love it. I'll be ready for a gunslinging skins team of the future with big wideouts and huge passing stats.
If they take Locker, awesome. I'll be looking forward to the fast and dynamic west coast the Mike is known for.
If they take a project and run with Rex, fine by me, I look forward to having good draft picks next year, and trust that they see something in whoever they pick.
If they go with McNabb, we maximize our draft picks on other positions, and get to have a bit of stability for another year while building our core.
Really, it doesn't matter.
