Our friends over at Daily Norseman, the Vikings SB Nation blog, came across an interesting quote from Visanthe Shiancoe, who was in DC and sat down with Washington Post Live's host, Ivan Carter. Ivan asked about McNabb and the Vikings Tight End took it from there: 

We had a little alcohol talk. And I told him, ‘Hey, look , you know, Minnesota might be a good fit for you.’ I think that he would probably agree on that.  Who knows if he wants to stay [in Washington] anymore, right, being in those circumstances? , but I wouldn’t want to stay here. Speaking for myself, I wouldn’t want to stay in this predicament right here," Shiancoe said.
