In taking a look at the Redskins from the approach of out with the old... I'm wondering why the Skins seemingly fall short in being able to get rid of decent players with out picking up anything in return. If you look a this past season's playoffs and superbowl, there are quite a few players, playing well and starting, that were once on the Redskins that we totally lost out on and received no compensation. We just deem them dead weight and aquire "better" players.
Anyone having any thoughts? How do we figure out what is the best way to create some value for guys that aren't fitting our system? Seems we just catch and release, other teams seem to be able to trade for something.
