The Skins are 4-8 and 2-4 at home, while the Pats are 9-3 and 4-2 on the road.

Notable Good/Bad Stats-Redskins
The Skins Defense is currently ranked in the top 10 this season. A vast improvement from last years 31st ranked unit.
London Fletcher is the MAN among men in the NFL. He currently leads in the NFL in tackles with 124, 12 more than the next two players.
Washington only has 67 offensive penalties, the 6th fewest in the NFL.
The Skins have been horrendous in 3rd down offense, only converting 34.8 percent, which is 23rd in the NFL.
OMG! While the Skins have been good at not gaining offensive penalties, they have been downright awful in defensive penalties. They lead the league with 99 defensive penalties for 769 yards.
The Skins have assured themselves of not having a winning record at home. They need to win their final two home ganes just to have a .500 record at Fedex Field.
Notable Good/Bad Stats-Patriots
Tom Brady has simply been breathtaking in the Patriots nine wins. He has posted a 67.9% completion percentage, 22 touchdowns to only 4 picks and a QB rating of 113.6 in the Pats nine wins.
New England scores POINTS. In their last 4 contests, the Pats have averaged 35 points. They have won 3 of those contests by double digits.
The Pats defense has not surrendered a lot of points this season. They have only allowed one team to hit 30 points and that was in week 3 vs Buffalo.
The Pats pass defense has been awful. Allowing teams to average 310 yards per contest. That 18 more yards than the next worst pass D. The Green Bay Packers. Giggles.
Brady has been average in the Pats 3 losses, only posting a 8-6 touchdown to interception ratio. His QB rating is only 86.8 in these games.
Chad Ochocinco has been a non factor for the Pats with only 12 receptions on the year.

Yes. Disclaimer: Pats fan.
It’s not just that Brady is Brady, it’s that it’s Tom Brady and Friends. Wes Welker, Deion Branch, Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez, then whichever of their RBs they got out there(Faulk/Woodhead/GreenEllis/Ridley/Vereen). He’s got weapons. There has been turnover at Center and issues at RT but Brady’s got the best tight-end in the league in Rob Gronkowski to lean on and the shiftiest wideout in the league in Wes Welker. If Grossman can’t sustain a drive and keep the ball in his team’s hands than Tom Brady will be more than content to hold the time of possession and bury the Skins as early as possible. It’s what he does..
It is what it is
Oh I wouldn't worry about Grossman
No really you don’t need to worry. Sexy is a badass. He sees your 32nd ranked pass D and says he’s going to light them up. That equals lots of stupid throws into triple coverage or right at the MLB. You better hope Mayo brings his catching gloves on Sunday.
Also our best recieving threat and our best Olineman just got suspended for 4 games for blazing up the Crondo…..so there’s that. HTTR.
Shut up DHall.

"The Crondo"? Is that what it's called down there?
Ironic for a team from Massachusetts, where it’s decriminalized, to benefit from the rules regarding the chronic.
It is what it is
Just some random responses here
I dare say our defense has wracked up so many penalties because they are on the field so much. I would say our slowly emerging running game will help there, but with TW out, I don’t see our O line getting to the second level a lot to open up those big runs. And Fred Davis would have given the NE defense fits, but obviously that’s not on the table now.
Yes, Grossman is probably salivating, looking at the Patriots secondary statistics. But I’m sure the Patriots secondary is looking at Grossman the same way. Again, with TW out, I look for the NE pass rush to get to Grossman a lot more. I would say turnovers are going to tell the tale, but this game might get away from the Redskins by the end of the 3rd.
And how can we not mention Andre Carter. Carter gets to say hey to his old teammates this Sunday. He’s having a pretty great year with NE (of course) with 47 tackles, a forced fumble, and 9 sacks. Unlike Carlos Rogers, I got nothing but love for Carter. He might be one of the biggest casualties of the 3-4 switch (and nobody say Fatsworth, because that piece of crap would have quit on his team either way).
Speaking of Fat Albert, who thought he would still be with the Patriots when we played them? I’ll admit, I wanted him there, just to give our guys a little more motivation. Oh well, I’m sure things will work out for him in Tampa…. HA!
If I had to throw out a score prediction, it would be about 34-20 Patriots. And it might not even be that close in reality, but I’m accounting for 1 garbage time TD for the Skins.
+10

Carter by the way will be going against whoever the Skins throw to the wolves as Williams replacement….Locklear or Willie. I figure NE cornerbacks get the benefit of another four Train Rex INT’s. Since he’s going to be duckin’ and chuckin’ he’s got to throw it to the wrong color jersey if he’s not consciously trying to force a throw into triple coverage. They aren’t going to score 20 though.

time for other guys to step up
i see logan having a good game. i know he’s not as good as davis, but i think he’ll have a decent game. time for grossman to move around in the pocket, or hell, even run with the ball if you have too! I think Brady will bring the good rex out this week. Gunslinging Time!
Good Rex ?
Have you been out smokin with Fred and Trent ? The good news is , assuming Helu has a good enough game to create some play action , Moss ,Gaffney , and Armstrong should be able to get open against this secondary . The bad news is , without Trent and Fred in pass protection , Rex won’t have time to find them very often . He’ll be to busy running for his life in between sacks/fumbles .
