BCS Bowl Games to Watch

Actually....we should watch them all. However, for the purposes of QB watching here's the lineup. Just wanted to provide a space for some open discussion. Last year I believe Roy Helu was wathed closely at Nebraska and 2-3 other guys were drafted from the same school, who else should we be watching from these teams?

Baylor v. Washington – meh, would prefer RGIII against stiffer competition

Dec. 29, 9:00 PM ET
ESPN 3

Robert Griffin III's final collegiate game may come less than four hours from campus. Griffin, a junior, might have some extra hardware in hand by the time he leads the Bears into San Antonio to take on a Huskies team that has lost three of its last four games. The Bears will be playing in their second straight bowl game for the first time since the 1991 and 1992 seasons.

Stanford v. Oklahoma State – I dig it, let’s see what Luck can do against that D.

Get your calculators ready -- this one could break some records. Two of the nation's top quarterbacks, Oklahoma State's Brandon Weeden and Stanford's Andrew Luck, square off in a battle of No. 3 vs. No. 4. Weeden has 34 passing touchdowns this year, Luck has 35. Weeden has the best wide receiver in college football in Justin Blackmon. Luck has the country's most productive tight end in Coby Fleener. Stanford has one of the best front sevens in the nation. Oklahoma State's defense made a major statement in a 44-10 win over Oklahoma. Two very evenly matched teams.

Oklahoma v. Iowa – ??

Dec. 30, 10:00 PM ET
ESPN 3

Few expected preseason No. 1 Oklahoma to end up at the Insight Bowl, but the Sooners struggled down the stretch and will try to salvage another 10-win season. Iowa returns to Tempe, Ariz., for the second consecutive year and try to continue its streak of three straight bowl wins. The teams have played just once, with Oklahoma winning in 1979.

USC v. ? – stupid sanctions robbing us of one last live action meaningful matchup for Barkley
