Reported by Chris Russell, Mike Shanahan has promoted Aldrick Robinson to the active roster. With the Redskins' season coming to an end this weekend, evaluation mode is in full gear. Here are some bio reminders for you:

• The former SMU WR was listed as 5'10, 184 lbs at the combine where he ran an imprsesive 4.35 40.
• Robinson suited in three pre-season games this year, but had 0 receptions and 2 fumbles in special teams returns.
• At SMU, Robinson caught a TD in 11 of 14 games during his senior season. He's second in SMU history with 30 career touchdowns.
• 1301 receiving yards his Senior year.

It's unknown if and how much time Robinson will see, but at this point I think we'd all like to see him. Brandon Banks has been a decent return guy, but he has been unable to take it to the house.
