I'm not one to tell a person how to root for their favorite team because most of us are "grown ass men and women" but when your team is mathematically eliminated from the playoffs is it acceptable to root for your team to lose for better draft position? OR is it unimaginable for a Diehard fan to ever root against their beloved team.

SO, hypothetical question for Redskin's nation..

Would you rather the Redskins win out and end the season on a 3 game win streak heading into 2012 while building the THREE C's ( Confidence, Cohesion, & Continuity)....BUT with a 7-9 record we end up picking 16th in the draft. Thus, leaving Mike Shanahan with a two year record of 13-19, one game ahead of Jim Zorn and Steve Spurrier in the same span.

OR

Lose out and finish with a 5-11 record BUT we end up with the 6th pick in the draft. Thus, leaving Mike Shanahan’s 2 years a laughable 1 game under both Zorny and The Old Ball Coach.
