Giants Thursday Morning Bathroom Reader | GiantsFootballBlog.com
Pierre-Paul has 12½ sacks among his 61 tackles, and comes off his most impactful performance. He was so dangerous against Dallas last Sunday night that the Cowboys took to double-teaming him on nearly every play, yet Pierre-Paul had eight tackles, a forced fumble, two sacks – one for a safety – and, for good measure, blocked a final-seconds field goal that could have tied the game.

Tom Coughlin: Don’t Sleep on Redskins | GiantsFootballBlog.com
Coughlin: "We’re in the division again with a big game this week against Washington. Don’t be fooled by the record. Washington has played very, very well. They’ve given everybody their A-game and taken literally all but a couple of these games right to the wire. The New England game, they rushed for 170 yards. They had an opportunity to tie that game at the end of the game. They actually had a touchdown called back with an offensive pass interference penalty. But they played very well. They’re 17th on offense. They’re 10th on defense. They have the number one kickoff coverage team in football. They have the number seven punt coverage team. They have the ability to strike offensively. Their defense is outstanding – the two outside backers. London Fletcher, DeAngelo Hall, we can name any list of names. They’re very formidable. They’re very physical. They beat us in the opening game of the year down there….They play hard. They play hard every week. It will be no different this week."

I mean, there isn’t anybody here that’s not aware of the quality of their team and how hard they play."

He’ll retire as the highest rated qb for the redskins ever.

I mean the guy has been playing lights out and isn’t even listed in the top 15

You have to remember PFF only looks at the numbers

It’s a good place to start but doesn’t tell the full story.

That being said I don’t think he deserves to be placed higher than any of those on the list. He’s had a very good year but still has a long way to go in his development.

I still think he's better overall than Aldon Smith

But haven’t watched Aldon closely on more than a game or 2

Do Rex Grossman's comments piss anyone else off from that article?

Is he saying that if his #1 read isn’t open, he’s going to throw it away? He’s not capable of checking down or reading the defence to make a play?

by ptowny on Dec 15, 2011 1:06 PM EST reply actions

i watched the interview yesterday

the question and his answer was in the context about that sack/fumble in the endzone that resulted in a touchdown, he was just saying in that situation (dropping back in the endzone) he can’t spend all day looking for receivers

As for me, all I know is that I know nothing.

This quote right here
They have the number one kickoff coverage team in football. They have the number seven punt coverage team.

Why do we want to replace Danny Smith again? For a “spark”? What the hell is this thinking?
