There is a lot more to being a winning team than draft position. The teams that are perpetual losers are also the teams with the most high 1st rd. draft picks. When you are rooting for your team to lose, you are hoping that the current players & coaches are below average. It is also much harder to get quality FAs to come to lousy teams, losing for a better draft pick is really a dumb strategy & fans who are hoping for their team to lose are clueless

I was actually curious what your thoughts were.
That question has obviously been answered. On the drive home I originally wanted the Redskins to win but then I realized that there is nothing to be gained from beating a horrible Seahawks team in a meaningless, late-November game.
Winning breeds winning.
It makes free agents and resignings cheaper. It makes it easier for players to fully commit themselves to the team effort. There’s an upside to losing out…I get it. Just don’t root against my team in front of me, or you become the enemy.
