Another Last year OfF Season

The main thing this regime has been saying consistently is continuation. With that being said, we are not going after a FA Starter level QB that has NO experience in the scheme!!!!

In year 1, we switched to the 3-4. Forced people into the scheme to see who fit and who does not. Year 2, look at what happened. We have damn near a playoff Defense. In his 2nd off season, Shanahan stressed that he wanted pressure to the QB and look at us now.  He focused on the defense, while steadily improving the offense.

This year, he is emphasizing on established the run. By doing so, you will kill 2 birds with one stone. It protects the QB by 1) running more and 2) it sets up play action. Our main FA pickups will be the oline, specifically the interior of the line. LG, C, and RG are open. Jammal Brown is still relatively young and lined up against Chester. We are not changing 4 out 5 olinemen. We already have willie smith (diamond in the rough) at RT/ Locklear as back up to both LT and RT.

In the spirit of Shanallen, we are not going to over spend on FA. WE ARE NOT!!!!!  Shanahan refuses to draft wr in early rounds, and then he did not go after brandon marshel. Bowe is not a locker room guy. Get him off your list. I think realistically a guy like desean Jackson would be here. He is not feeling philly and wants revenge. Like cofield and bowen.

Torrain is on this roster due to shanahans first year here. We had all old backs and unfamiliar/ suited for the system. He went with someone who was. He will be around here next year and getting PT, unless hillis comes here. To me, they are the same player. No point in signing Hillis.

My predictions in the draft, forgot the amount of picks so i am assuming 1 per round

1st round-
Shanahan stated last year that he wanted a young mcnabb.....*hint*  Cam Newton last year. Missed out on him and traded back for more serviceable players in areas off need.   This year’s Mcnabb is way more accurate in RG3....if history repeats and if he is not available, look for a trade back for more picks. if not RG3, look for the best Olinemen in th late 1st round

2nd round pick
this here, is the money pick. I think we will pick a game-breaking WR

Wrong-o on Brown

1. Jamal Brown sucks and has for two years. He was cut some slack last year because he was coming off a hip injury. He can’t fall back on that this year. The only sack Ware got Sunday was off Brown…not Williams.
2. We have NOT established any semblance of a running game. The coaches have been playing musical chairs with all the RB’s on the team. The offensive line has been a revolving door due to injuries and shitty players. That has to be addressed in the off season. He WILL draft a QB. Whether it’s RGIII or somebody else is a lot of speculation. There’s still a lot of time between now and the draft including the combine where these guys will be graded, weighed and measured only to find out they’re not really 6’4" and in a controlled environment can’t hit the broad side of a barn from 30 yards.

We've given Jamal Brown multiple chances to prove his worth... we should trade him (if he is under contract)

Trent is not bad… he just seems unmotivated. He needs competition to raise his game level. I say draft an OT or two… bring in another OT… and threaten to move him to RT… you’ll see Trent’s game step-up!

No way we get a 6th for Brown.

Am I taking crazy pills? Did you really suggest we don't draft OL?

We’re watching the same team, right?

The one that has two decent starters with promise (TW, Licht), one solid starter (Will M), and two guys who need to be replaced sooner rather than later (Chester & Brown) and also NO DEPTH WHATSOEVER.
