A couple notes here. Jon Kitna did not make the trip to D.C. with an illness, so Stephen McGee is Romo's backup. Tony Romo will be the holder for field goals today (insert choke joke here).
Prediction: It's hard to pick the Redskins in this game given the injuries to the OLine. Even if the Redskins keep the game close defensively, the inability of our offense to convert 3rd and longs, which we'll likely be in a lot, will take it's toll on our defense. Cowboys 27, Redskins 9. (please prove me wrong Shanny, PLEASE).

I would much rather have Landry out there than Doughty.
Reed has not played well this year at all, Landry has certainly not lived up to expectation, but he sertainly a worthy starting safety in this league.

I still think that when a receiver has to run over the middle…..or the QB comes to the line, surveys the D, looks up and sees LaRon staring them down he has the ability to get in their head. I doubt anybody fears Reed Doughty.

I want to see the running game develop today.
It is time to get back to Redskins football. With each game that goes by and the Redskins continue to be pass happy, the more confidence I lose in Kyle Shanahan. I am a big fan of his, but he needs to show that he can adapt his system to the team. In the future, if injuries hit, we may need to rely on the running game. We especially may need to rely on the run next year if we have a rookie QB. Run Kyle Run. I beg you.

We haven't consistently stayed with the run all year.
There are two types of teams in this league: those that run to set up the pass and those that pass to set up the run. Looking at our current team, we are definitely more equipped to run to set up the pass. Strike that, three types of teams…there are the Broncos, who pass only out of necessity.
to have any success I think it will have to be Helu....
he seems to best understand the scheme, and it helps that he is a burner (burner=really fast….not Sleepy Davis in the offseason)
