I've never played organized football, so to analyze the Redskins is about like analyzing brain surgery methods for me. I grew up a basketball player, a very small one, but a decent player, so I think I am qualified to say what I think this team needs as far as attitude goes.

I can't jump, mediocre outside shot, good passer but not very fast. I played against many guys with so much more talent than me it wasn't fair. but, one thing I was great at was banging. Yeah, I'll see some jokes in the comments section, go for it.  Banging is what you do when you're not as talented as the other guy. Finesse players hate it when you bang.

Banging is when you simply fight too hard for the other guy to handle. You're taller than me? Great, I'll jam my elbow in your ribs, make you shorter. I can't shoot? Good, I'm just going to drive to the basket so hard I cave your chest in with my shoulder.

It's not pretty, but it works.

This team needs to bang. Those big, young receivers we have...go bang. Logan Paulsen, go bang.

This team won't shoot from the outside or wow anyone with a fancy dribble. If they want to win, they have to bang. And when you bang, the other guy wants no part of you, and then those long jumpshots become that much easier.
