Will the Redskins extend any of their pending free agents during the season?

There are a number of starters who are free agents after the season. Fletcher, Landry, Fred Davis, Adam Carricker, and Tim Hightower are all in the last season of their contracts.

A large number of last years free agents signed one year deals, so next years free agent class will be very deep.  You could argue that they should wait and bet on a buyers market again next year, then be able to resign guys to favorable deals as they did with Moss and McIntosh.  I don't think there is any worry about Fletcher signing elsewhere, so I'd wait on him.  Same with Carricker.  Hightower has the injury, so you have to wait to see how he recovers, and he won't be a big money deal anyway.  To me, Landry and Davis are the two players the team should be negotiating extensions with.  Davis would be the top priority, as someone could easily offer him a silly contract in free agency and the team would be left to decide to overpay him or let him walk.  I'm less sold on Landry.  He's had some injuries, and he reminds me of Roy Williams in Dallas.  I like him, and if he resigns for a reasonable amount, do it now.  If he wants to break the bank, I'd be very wary of him.

What do you guys think?  Anyone else they need to extend now?  McIntosh?
