Mike Shanahan: ‘Bad’ play call led to fourth-and-2 failure - The Insider
"We just gave a bad play, to be honest with you," the coach said Monday afternoon. "Every once in a while, you’ll do that. They had a good blitz and they caught us a little off balance. We had a missed assignment in there and they got a little bit of penetration. Without the proper call, he didn’t have anybody open, so sometimes that turns into a sack."

Rak: "We need to take some chances sometimes. Sometimes you get caught in not wanting to miss tackles, because a lot of times if you go for the ball, you miss tackles if you don’t get the ball out. But we need to get back to our old ways, play with a little more swagger and it’ll happen."

"We feel like we’ve been trying to get in the best defense that we can, to win the game," he said. "But you have to be put in a position to make those plays. We’ve been facing some guys and some quarterbacks over the last couple of weeks that have hand-cuffed us in that area of the game-plan a little bit, as far as being able to sit in some zones and pick some things off. We are trying to get turnovers, but at the same time, we can’t sit in our coverages and allow the quarterback to run all over the field."

Rookie Ryan Kerrigan has yet to miss a snap this season – the only Redskin defender to do so – and has played 40 more snaps than two-time Pro Bowler Brian Orakpo.
Something about this just shows me that this guy cares. That he’s here to win. We need 10 more Kerrigans.
Just like at Purdue!

Wasn't he ill on Sunday?
London Fletcher seems off
sure I remember the commentators mentioning he had been throwing up on the sidelines a few times during the game
I am going to be personally responsible
for John Beck, Pro-Bowl 2011!!!!
ih8dallas has already stuffed the inbox... he's already ordered 17 mail-order brides from China
in exchange their family will vote for Beck in China.

there are only 3 Skins that deserve probowl slots
First is London. That goes with out saying. Second is Kerrigan. Kerrigan is playing great football. The fact that he is only a rookie makes me even happier. Third I say is Fred Davis he is the only guy on offense that comes close to scaring anyone.
Fred Davis isn't even close to being a Pro Bowl TE, think about his competition not him.

Yeah I know
but he is the only one that is even in the same zipcode of the pro-bowl on our offense.
I think people will judge by his stats and currently, I think he is just behind the guy from NO in receiving yards
for TEs. There is a distinct chance he gets in if he keeps putting up 95 yard games.
It may be safer to play with 10 than have Kevin Barnes play
Having kevin barnes eluded to the fact that there would be an open receiver on the field.
We really must be up SH#$%s creek
If our best option is Kevin “I cant tackle” Barnes.
Kevin is playing his way off of this team lately
its a shame because he’s shown potential at times, but he’s just been awful in our losses.
