Haynesworth to Detroit?

Please, Pleeeeeaaaassee take him!

The Detroit Lions would seem to be just fine at defensive tackle right now. Ndamukong Suh is expected to win the defensive rookie of the year award, and his fellow tackle Corey Williams had a good first season in Detroit after being acquired in a trade with the Cleveland Browns.

And yet there's talk in Detroit that the Lions could be looking to make a very big splash at defensive tackle and acquire Albert Haynesworth, the disgruntled Redskin who almost certainly won't be back in Washington in 2011.

Tom Kowalski of MLive.com writes that Lions head coach Jim Schwartz and defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham love Haynesworth, and there's a chance the Lions will make a run at him.
