Arizona would get QB Donovan McNabb for a 3rd rd pick. They know that we gave up a 2 and a 3 for him, so getting him for a 3 is a bargain. This will buy them time to develop a QB while freeing up their top 2 picks for their other team needs (30th ranked Defense, last place in rushing yards (offense)).
Denver is asking for a 2nd rd pick for QB Kyle Orton, but would probably settle for a 3rd rd pick. Orton is not happy with the organization, and they already spent a 1st rd pick on QB Tim Tebow. They even benched Orton and started Tebow in the last 3 games, so his value is diminished.
Redskins would basically get QB Kyle Orton (6’4”, 225) in exchange for QB Donovan McNabb. Orton is 6 years younger and healthy. He has a QB rating of 87.5 (had he played a 14th game, he would have been right behind Tom Brady and ahead of Michael Vick and Matt Ryan in QB rating).
This would allow us to move back in the Draft and concentrate on our other key needs (young NT, bookend OLB, future C, dominating G, and playmaking WR).
