I hear all about how everyone wants us to trade our high picks for more picks in this years draft and picks in later drafts as well. Here is a though...How about we just draft the best player available on the board when our turn to pick comes up? I understand that this team needs picks thanks to years and years of mismanagement, however, this thing is not going to be fixed all in one draft. The key to success (looking at the most successful teams in this year's playoffs) have been a combination of the draft and free agency. This is not a one year fix-up. We will need a couple of years to cleanse this organization and one way that you do that is by acquiring "Talent". So I believe that its not inconceivable for us to just make the pick with the best and most talented player available during our turn at the podium.
