This is going to be short and sweet. I'm wondering about Albert Hayneswoth and although many of you are probably tired of talking about him, I figured these opinions of yours could most easily help me understand where the situation is at. Obviously you don't have to answer all the questions, the following are just questions rambled out of my head to give you an idea of what I'm curious about. All answers/opinions are certainly welcome and appreciated.
What do you think the chances are he'll be traded? What do you hope to get out of a trade? Do you see any likely trading partners or old coaches of his that might be after him? Are there teams that have rumored interest? Are you hoping for players or draft picks in return? If it's players, what positions? Also, I heard last year that the Skins were hoping to recoup some of that bonus they paid to him, either by him or the team you trade him to. Any truth to that, truth to the idea that a team may have to pay money to trade for Albert?
It looks to me like he'll be owed about $12M over the next two years then his contract will need to be void or restructured (due to the $28M poison pill) regardless of what team he's playing for. Is that right, or am I missing something?
Thanks guys and good luck to your coach in his second year... from a Broncos fan.
