The Redskins' Next QB (Circa 2017)

*Ryan Novak is the nation's top soph high school prospect at qb. Already has major programs interested in him. And he's a Skins' fan. Suit him UP!

Star-divide

"He reminds me of Ben Roethlisberger in many ways!"University of Southern California quarterbacks' coach Clay Helton on Heritage High School's Ryan Novak

While most five-year olds were watching "The Simpsons" and learning their number facts on "Sesame Street", Ryan Novak was viewing multiple versions of game tapes with his Dad Scott. "My father is a long-time Big-12 Conference referee. He would get "all-22" tapes of his games, meaning the vantage point shows every player (and all the officials) on the field," said the now 15-year old Heritage High School (CO) sophomore quarterback. "After he worked a game, he'd be watching the tape of it for three or four hours. He'd be looking at his calls, and when I started to become a quarterback, I'd be watching the quarterback. I'd say, 'This is a good read, a bad read, a good ball,' Those kinds of things."

To admit that we'll need a QB in 2017 is to admit that the QB Drafted this or next year will fail.

Thanks, but no thanks.

Dear Passionate fan, I know you are passionate, but please reply with a logical answer or I will ignore you.

How about not at all. This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

We’re really going to start discussing HS players? I saw a elementary school kid running to the bus today, on my way into work, he was pretty fast. I think he could be a fit for RB for us in 2025.

It's funny...

Once the season was over I was like “Hooray, no more seeing stupid links posted by that guy” guess I was wrong.

And every site that have access to does not say this kid is "the nation's top QB prospect"

The highest ranking I could find for him was #6 and that was out of “Western” states.

by Parks Smith on Jan 12, 2011 10:25 AM EST up reply actions

Why didn't it work out?

He did very well for Notre Dame, and is (I think) a starting QB in the NFL – although the jury is still out on just how good he is. But I have to think the post is a joke – nobody thinks that far ahead, and I might not even be here by then.
By the way, I saw Dick Butkus play fullback and linebacker with CVS in Chicago, and he was just awesome – totally dominated, a giant among ordinary mortals. Even then, I figured that he would go on to the NFL. But no QB can dominate that way.

by Donnio1234 on Jan 12, 2011 11:29 AM EST up reply actions

That’s only because Notre Dame was interested in him. It’s a well known fact that no matter how good the player is…if Notre Dame is recruiting him strongly…his ranking sky-rockets.

This was your best written post yet...but is still stupid!!!

Twas a dark and stormy night when Tony Romo turned his key...
He was scared about the prospect of going back to D.C.
When he entered his room he saw some crutches wrapped in a bow...
Attached with a note that said "you’ll need these... signed...Brian Orakpo" (thanks skinsfan28)

Daniel

Keep posting Bro. Some on here are just haters.

For me this is very interesting as I am heavily involved in recruiting.

We don't really have problem with his posting or content.

Just the fact that he has publicly stated the only reason he post his links on here is to get more hits on HIS blog. Which I don’t think thats cool. If he posted the whole article or did a FanShot (which he lies and says he can’t) then it would be cool, but he doesn’t b/c he wants to force you to click his link.

Its like if we both owned a restaurant and I went into your restaurant giving out coupons and talking up my restaurant.

by Parks Smith on Jan 12, 2011 6:09 PM EST up reply actions

Which he already did post several fanshots.... BUT

Once he realized that nobody wanted to click ‘em he started posting them as fanposts again. It’s getting really annoying.

Your Feedback

Thanks for the feedback Tiller56. Recruiting is crucial to the future of pro football. The draft is three months away, what are we going to talke about with the Skins……who the next qb is?……..yawn……….

Isn't that kinda the point of your post......"The Redskins' Next QB (Circa 2017) "

So…..technically…..you just "yawn"ed your own post?

Speaking of which

My 17 year old cousin said he can toss pizza dough and catch it in the air at his new Papa John’s job, I think we’ve got something here he can be our #1 Wide Out in 2015!

According to Hair Kiper Jr. he's got a hell of an Arm, Good Accuracy, and a beautiful deepball.

but his problem is he’s 3 years old.

I'm calling Snyder to fire up the Redskins Jet pronto

We’re flying to the Kindergarten academy in a couple of days to see if we can take him with the 1st overall pick. I don’t know about you, but this kid seems like the REAL DEAL.

He's a real leader on the field

He reminds of Phillip Rivers, It’s going to be trouble some though, we’ve got a contract with Gatorade, but now we’ve got to get a contract with a milk company.

No redshirting?

Are you sure it’s not 2017? Because we’ll be able to get him AND a franchise QB! Win-win.
