Columbo Out for Opener
IRVING, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys right tackle Marc Colombo won't practice Thursday and is not expected to play in Sunday night's season opener against the Washington Redskins, a source told ESPNDallas.com.
Colombo had arthroscopic surgery on Aug. 16 to remove five loose particles from his right knee. On that day, Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said he expected Colombo to return within 10 to 14 days.
The Cowboys hope Colombo will be able to practice next week and play in the Sept. 19 home opener against the Chicago Bears.

Skins fans are rejoicing like we won the Super Bowl on twitter.
I am def happy…but both of their backups (Kosier’s too) are 5+ year veterans. I got a Q&A with the SBN cowboys blogger asking about it for tomorrow. Guess I’m quietly optimistic. It’s not like either of these starters were pro bowlers.
Hogs Haven. On Twitter. And Facebook.
I don't celebrate injuries, but...
this is going to be a lingering issue for the ’gals all year loooong.
