Over-under on how many plays albert haynesworth plays in the opener?

BQ: Final Score?

I hope we win and with how bad they've been playing and there offensive line injury's i think we have a 50/50 chance of winning a close one but my common sense guess is 35-14 cowboys.

I'm thinking 30 plays

If he starts, that means Shanahan thinks he’s ready to play nearly every play. If that happens, he should play 40+ plays. But, believing that he probably won’t start, I can’t go that high. All the same, Shanahan won’t let him take plays off like last year, so as long as he’s playing, somewhere in the 30-35 range seems right to me.

COWBOYS 35-14????????????

I don’t think so….. Read think like a champion by Mike Shanahan and Adam Schefter Coach will be well prepared for whatever they have to throw at us. I am willing to bet Coach has seen every bit of film and designed counters to every play. I am very confident this is a lock!

Nice enthusiasm, but

it’s no lock. Dallas is 3 1/2 – 4 point favorite. That suggests that the gamblers think Dallas is 7 points better than us. Seems a little high, but we have to beat the Cowboys to change their minds.

Not trying to be a smartass--honest question:

I only make personal bets and I’m no expert on Vegas oddsmaking, so I’m wondering why, if Dallas is a 3 1/2 or 4 point favorite, that means that gamblers are thinking Dallas is 7 points better. I thought oddsmakers tried to set the line so that half of gamblers pick one way and half the other way, basically making the line the gamblers’ average pick.

Educate me.

I know I sound like a yahoo but...

Its Coah Shanahans debut…….. He will be determined to make this game his announcement to the country that THE REDSKINS ARE BACK!!! We are a force to be reckoned with! Primetime opening day nope I would take that bet if I gambled!

36 1/3

He gets caught running off of the field and we get a 12-men on the field penalty in the 3rd quarter.

I'm going 26-16 Redskins...

Redskins have been game-planning for 9 months. So much film on Cowboys offense.

I think we'll win, too

For your reason (surprise – we know more about them than they know about us), and it seems to me that the psychology is on our side – we want it more than them. Plus it’s at home, and we’re coming off a very bad year. I’ll go 24-16. They are 3 1/2 – 4 point favorites, so it won’t be easy or a laugher. They’re tough.

I think we win

in a low scoring game. I think that Dallas’s offensive line sucks & was exposed by the Vikings & in all four preseason games. I think that Orakpo & Haynesworth both have good games with AH playing 35 plays. I predict Carlos Rogers gets a pick, ( yes THAT Carlos Rogers ). 13-10 Redskins win

by ENsDad27 on Sep 7, 2010 8:16 PM EDT reply actions

How exactly does Carlos get a pick

when instead of fingers and thumbs he has wooden mallets.

Love Carlos as a cover guy cos he does a good job stopping receptions, interceptions, not so much!!

BETFAIR.COM

you can set your own lines for any bet you want, basically be the bookie.

This sounds like a perfect place to start.

I would set the over under at 38, with the knowledge that he might play 0
