The Redskins want to get the message out to fans attending Sunday night’s home game against the Dallas Cowboys: ARRIVE EARLY!! Kickoff is 8:20 p.m. ET.
All parking lots at FedEx Field open at 12 noon ET. Five giant video boards will be spread throughout the stadium’s parking lots as well as the Bud Light Pavilion for fans to watch the afternoon NFL games leading up Sunday night’s nationally televised contest vs. Dallas.
In addition to the video boards, the Redskins Marching Band and the Redskins Cheerleaders will perform in the tailgate areas all afternoon. Redskins alumni will also be on hand to meet fans.
The FedEx Field Bud Light Pavilion will open early at 4 p.m. at which time the team will for the very first time open the lower bowl in the east end of the stadium for fans who want to come in and watch the late afternoon game on the stadium’s new 100-foot HD video boards!
The first 50,000 fans wearing Redskins attire entering the gates for Sunday night’s game will receive a free Redskins car flag. (Retail value is $12.95.)
This season, fans driving to the stadium on GameDay can get traffic text alerts sent to their cellphones -- just text RSTRAFFIC to 44636. This service gives fans access to regular updates on the best routes to use to get to and from FedEx Field on game day.
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!!!
