Redskins Insider - Clinton Portis has a new attitude this season
"It's like a family," Portis said of this year's team. "In previous years past, everybody went home, when people left from over here, they went home, it was like, 'I'll see you tomorrow at work.' Compared to now, you can catch numerous groups of guys - five or six guys - out together, having dinner, hanging around, shooting pool, bowling or doing something. I think it's just a team vibe all of a sudden. I think everybody's bought into, 'We tired of losing.'"

Yeah, one good year doesn't mean you deserve a contract that big.

But I’ll be happy to see this one bite the Cowdungs on the ass.

I'm back. YAY SUMMER!

This means they have even less to spend on the OLine

Hip Hip Hooray! Seriously, Austin is good, but not an elite, top tier receiver – with only one year of performance…? Good move, Jerruh. Keep it up.

Seems to me like they did this

to try to convince themselves that he is a superstar wide receiver.

They've been convinced he's a superstar wide reciever for a while

Jones was talking about him as the next T.O. even before he broke out last year. Hopefully he’ll be more like their next Roy Williams.

Bored and broke.

I'm not convinced yet, but I'm also not betting against Austin

He looked very very good last year

That's seriously the first thing

I said out loud when I saw those contract numbers. I know he had a good year and all, but it remains to be seen if he can do that year in and year out. I guess we’ll see this year.
