A Look at Brett Favre's Career Stats Against the Redskins
Well, the Brett Favre era is mercifully finally over. Sucks to be a Vikings fan...eh, I can't really talk. Although the Redskins have been an average team at best over Favre's career, he did not have good numbers against the Redskins (full stats after the jump).
A few things stand out. The porous 62.9 career QB rating versus the Skins, a 1-2 TD to INT ratio, and the worst win-loss ratio in the NFC East. I tried to find video of Sean Taylor picking off Brett Favre twice, one of which broke the QB record for most career INTs, but was unsuccessful.

if you like, I can post another Haynesworth story.
I’m sick of Favre too…but seeing he sucked against the Redskins made it worth it. He absolutely torched the Cowboys as well…

Although...
it says his teams did go 4-1 against us, and 2-6 against the Cowboys. So… I dunno that I like that.
Kevin,
Were you reading his records against NFC teams wrong? The first column is Games, not Wins. I’m guessing you read Boys 8-2, Giants 7-5, Eagles 12-5, Skins 5-4 when it is really 2-6, 5-2, 5-7, 4-1.
indeed...that's what i get for rushing on my comments.
It’s the Giants he shredded. He had a really good TD-INT ratio against DAL and NYG.

what could've been...
if brett wasn’t such an indecisive waffler the vikings would probably have mcnabb instead of the skins. would we still have campbell? rex as the starter? for me i think it’s safe to say…thanks brett.
Yea until
McNabb refuses to sign an extension and then goes to Minny next year.
Insert something witty here.

That's a long way away.
I’m not going to worry about it now.
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.
Vikings just offered Favre more $$
ugh..I’m never going to be able to watch ESPN ever again.

slutting themselves out again huh?

On the plus side
at least this takes the focus off Haynesworth. Just sayin…
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.
They're definitely making it hard for me
To like them anymore. They’re acting as if Favre is a god, or as if there is absolutely positively nothing else going on in the sports world. It’s annoying beyond belief.
First LeBron, now this
In between, we had the oogling over Steinbrenner’s death, like it was the biggest news ever. ESPN always seems to take a hit from their ombudsman, but they don’t change a thing. Why? Because all they care about is ratings, not journalistic integrity.
What an egotistical drama queen.
Bet he plays in 2010
"By far the worst performers on the team are in the front office." – Sally Jenkins
wouldn't be surprised
if he signs with minn mid season, once his ankle feels “better” and assuming they are at least a .500 team with a shot at their division and the playoffs. only has to play 8 games and he’s right back in the playoffs. i bet he’d sign that deal right now!
