Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach Chad Englehart, who does room checks at night, recreated a scene he encountered one night when he found LaRon Landry doing push-ups in his room to slow jams.
This is hilarious
"You're fucking out!"
oh, the look on their faces
when Englehart first opens the door, and when Laron looks up to see someone watching his routine.

Giants just signed Shawn Andrews
Good. Hopefully he's a waste of time & money for them.

He chose New York
so he could break into the music business. He figures since LeBron chose Miami, then he can be the marketing giant in NY.
I guess in my nightmares
I could picture his face on every billboard. But that would probably be about it.
Yes
Obviously, they think rather highly of him – and are possibly having second thoughts about some of the other WRs. I still think that as long as we have OK WRs, our O will be fine thanks to the TEs. If someone steps up at RB, more the better.
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.
That's a good sign
if the Giants are that desperate.

Also...
Is anyone going to Redskins Rides on Sunday at Redskins Park? I’ll be there.

Went last year
won’t make it this year, but it was a great time. We got lots of autographs and pictures with the players. Highly recommended.
Armstrong
I like the attitude from Armstrong – let’s face it, while a 42-17 thrashing of the Bills was pretty satisfying from my chair as a fan, and promises good things for the season, the reality is that nothing’s proven yet. it’s just one game. They haven’t really done anything that counts yet. The fact that he’s going to not look back or get complacent makes me happy.
We’ll know more Saturday.

I'm trying hard not to read into this or draw any conclusions....
but the Bills beat the Colts last night…..
Then don't.
Preseason team results mean nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Preseason is almost solely for observing 1-on-1 and individual performances.

in that case
CJ Spiller was the ’ish last night.

I disagree strongly,
Although I agree that final score is basically meaningless, For teams like us, new coaches/schemes/QB etc, preseason is much more than individual performances (not taking away from the importance of that) Getting these players to gel along the OL and getting everybody comfortable with their new assignments in the new defense is paramount for us this preseason. I would be perfectly comfortable with his decisions if Shanny had to make final cuts today, but I am certainly glad that we have two more preseason games to get together as a team before we face off against Dallas for real. That being said, for a team like Indianapolis, preseason is exactly as you say….just a little more practice, and searching for that diamond in the rough.
I was sorta thinking the same thing
When I saw the score. But it seems like the Colts are always kinda sucky in the preseason. I couldn’t see the game, but the Bills may have had more of their regulars back and healthy, and/or their players could have just “woken up” for this game and played well. But like I said, I didn’t see the game so I’m not sure exactly what the case was for them beating the Colts. I’m still gonna hold judgement and wait to see how we play against the Ravens though to get a slight idea of where we are.
Does pre-season mean nada?
Does anyone have any statistics about this. I really have paid scant attention, particularly to other teams pre-seasons, but it kind of hits me that the Patriots always do well and….well……again, maybe 5M or someone can up with real numbers. EG: How the teams with the best pre-seasons did in the real world and the other side of the coin – those with the worst pre-seasons did.
I think the basic point is
that the scores of pre-season games are meaningless; so doing the research you suggest can lead to no real conclusion. Each coach has his own objectives for each preseason game and unless he thinks that it is important to win the game to establish confidence, there is little incentive for the team to focus on the outcome of the game when so much is riding on individual play in order to determine which players make the team.

I believe the Skins went 0-4 before the '91 season
"By far the worst performers on the team are in the front office." – Sally Jenkins
went 4-0 in one preseason as well

In a nuts hell
pre-season record is not in any way a predictor of overall season performance by those examples, specifically.
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.
Pre-season
To judge a team that was 4-12 last year that now has a completely different coaching staff , offensive and defensive schemes..and 25+ new players might be really difficult.
