Update: Colt Brennan has been cut.
Well, if you own a Colt Brennan jersey you can probably throw it in the bin with your Jason Taylor ones. The Redskins traded CB Doug Dutch to the Ravens for the former BYU QB, who was drafted by the Dolphins in the 2nd round of the 2007 draft. I find it quite comical the Redskins traded for a QB that is currently being coached by Jim Zorn.
Either way, the Redskins now have 5 QBs on their roster. McNabb, Grossman, Bartel, Colt Brennan, and now John Beck. Shanahan has clearly been unimpressed with the quality of QBs, so it's hard to not like this trade, especially since Kevin Barnes and Tryon seem to be doing well so far in camp. I've always been rooting for Doug Dutch since he went to my High School in D.C., Gonzaga, and how can you not like a Redskin that once served food at RFK during Redskins games growing up? It seems to be a good trade for both sides. The Ravens' Domonique Foxworth was recently put on IR with a torn ACL, so the Ravens are looking for depth at Corner Back.
