It's day freaking one and I've had enough

As Joe Friday said "Just the facts, ma'am", conveys exactly how I feel about all the BS that's going on. To borrow more of his lingo and use it in my own words: This is the city. Ashburn, Virgina. I live this...I am a diehard.

Star-divide

When the fuck did football become more drama then sport? This Haynesworth thing is not that big of a deal. The Facts: Haynesworth not thrilled about 34 D, Shanahan puts his feet to the fire, Haynesworth shows up, doesn't meet coach's expectations for fitness, must improve cardio. The end period. Of course some bullshit story of them having words comes out, only to be denied by the coach:

Shanahan denied a ProFootballTalk.com report that he had a heated exchange with Haynesworth after Haynesworth failed the test. "No words," Shanahan said. "First class all the way."

The facts: Haynesworth is a beast but he is not the end all be all for our team, and yes I say OUR team because no fan base has been drug through the sheer embarrassment and humiliation that Redskins fans have had to endure. I'm sick and tired of every media outlet freaking the fuck out about a single solitary, 1 of 53 person. Was he paid crazy money, yes. Get the hell over it. Its a new time and a new era. On that note I want to say that if we go 9-7 I'll be thrilled. Truth is I'm happy we just have direction at this point.

I'm 28. My first memory of Redskin football was my dad cussing the TV when John Elway hit a TD on his first pass of Super Bowl XXII. I vividly remember being in 3rd grade during the '91 season, not old enough to know what's going on, but some how knowing bating the New York Giants on Monday Night Football was a big deal. Like many of you, the years that followed were a hurt that only a true fan can feel and only a diehard can understand.

All I ask is we shift from the media bullshit, (not saying it's unfounded just don't get caught up) and focus on things like: Coach has Joey Galloway lining up with the first team! No one promotes competition like Shanny and I bet Devon  Thomas knows he better bring his A-game. Do you thing he's got Portis' attention as well? Our that Shanny has everyone together at training camp in the same hotel. Team unity people!

These are the facts, and that's all this Redskin fan cares to hear.

I hope Haynesworth passes the test today

so I can hear about something ANYTHING else on sport talk radio. Do you feel that he was set up for failure, or that he’s just out of shape? There were 3 different stories yesterday. Deangelo said nobody passed, Shanny said the whole line passed, and others say AH was the only one to do it.

I think that Shanahan wants evereyone...

to know what he expects and that everyone has to be in the best shape possible. No one will get special treatment. Haynesworth is going to pay the price for deciding not to show up for OTAs or mini camp.

So when do you expect him to be playing first team?

The Joey Galloway Thing baffles me

I can understand if Shanny is trying to motivate Thomas and Kelly by having Galloway and Williams as our #1’s during camp, but if that trend continues into the regular season, we will be the laughing stock of the NFL.

If this is going to be the case, I say F-it. Make the trade for V. Jackson. Although I am not in favor of this, it’s better than having Joey Galloway as our #1.

Don't ever let failure get you down. Remember, a very successful major league hitter failes 70% of the time.

You're overreacting to the first week of practice.

Right

The last two practices were better for Thomas, but Kelly’s injuries may be his doom since he has not been able to stay healthy.

Totally agree smutsboy

Take a chill pill…a lot can happen in six weeks.
